Topic: Nacha ACH Rules 2026 Update
The ACH Network is still one of the most important payment systems utilized today by consumers, corporates, and the U.S. Government. The ACH Rules update will provide an overview of the recent Nacha Risk Management Rules changes effective in March and June 2026. All ACH Network participants, including Receiving and Originating Depository Financial Institutions, non-consumer Originators, Third-Party Service Providers, and Third-Party Senders will be required to implement risk-based processes and procedures designed to identify ACH credits suspected of being unauthorized or authorized under false pretenses, such as business email compromise and social engineering scams. Brief details of additional ACH Rules’ changes on the horizon will also be shared.

Danita Moss joined Southern Financial Exchange in 2003 following 25 years in community banking and is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Payments Education for Southern Financial Exchange, a Payments Association, headquartered in New Orleans, LA. Danita has earned Nacha’s AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) Certification, ECCHO’s National Check Payments Certification (NCP) and ECCHO’s Certified Trainer for the NCPC Program. Danita also serves on the MSAFP Board of Directors. She currently resides in Bethel Springs, TN. with her husband, Aaron. She is the mother of two children and two granddaughters.
